This product varies widely from one to another some are almost useless and very hard to hear on

The problem we had was that there was no information in the add about phone compatability. I called the manufacturer and found that the headset had not been tested for compatability with our phone. Also there was not a diagram to show how the switches worked. I had to call the manufacturer for that information. The headset works on our phone, but has limited range from the base. Sometimes the other party says that we are breaking up.

I love this headset. The sound is just fine and it is comfortable. The best feature is that the mouthpiece actually can be bended to whatever shape you want. Other mouthpieces, I’ve had problems with it being too far from my mouth so people can’t hear me, or it being close enough but not pliable and right up to my mouth so it feels awkward. This one can be molded to the exact position you want it to be. I didn’t even realize that when I ordered it, so I wanted to write in how pleased I am with the design.

Sound quality and comfort are good. But within a short time the cord was coming apart (near the volume control module). Everywhere it got twisted or bent, it the sheath broke off, exposing the copper wire. Then the sound quality was cutting out because of the shorts at the exposed wire.

It’s a great product that has volume control. Plantronics headset are always good quality products. It fit in both cordless phone and cell phone jacks.
