This printer turns on automatically when you turn on your computer, which does not make any sense. In most cases when I turn on my computer, I do not use my printer, so when this printer turns on anyway, you are wasting energy. This is definitely not a “green” printer. Lexmark customer service provided me with a solution to fix this problem, but it did not work. I contacted them again, but they did not return my repeated emails. Terrible customer service. I very much regret that I purchased this printer and would never buy a Lexmark printer again. Lousy product and lousy customer service. Adios.

The product works well and was very easy to set up on a wireless network. The transaction to buy went smoothly and delivery was prompt.

At first, the printer printed and really had nice features. After a few weeks and from different computers, it just says Printer is Busy. There is no way around it. You can reboot the computer, restart the spooler but this printer doesn’t want to print. I thought HP was bad at network printing, but this one is really bad! I suppose if you just wanted to make a copy or a fax, the machine works great, but network printing may not work as intended..

Had this machine for several months. Features looked great, the price was good (about $120.); print text quality was ok-average; photo quality did not compare to competitor’s (esp. Canon).
One of main reasons I selected this model was for multi-page scanning. Initially scan software was slow, but it worked – for awhile, then started malfunctioning. Then the document feeder totally died – so could not automatically copy or scan. This was within 6 months – too late to return, and not worth fixing.
To have it repaired when all-in-0nes are so economical these days wasn’t worth it; so it was donated to a grade-school, and I went back to Canon.

Seriously, I have never had this many problems with any device with my computer. First, the computer that I bought wouldn’t print color. And every time I tried to print something it would tell me that, and only print after I pressed a button — a big negative considering I bought this printer to be able to print wirelessly. After 3 calls to the customer service they sent me a new printer.
The new printer has been difficult to install (it only works on 2 of my 3 computers, and when we installed it on the 2d computer we only managed to set it up by choosing counterintuitive choices after all of the normal things seemed to work) (the first printer was installed easily).
Today, the problem is that it won’t scan — it keeps telling me to scan over the network. Despite the fact that I’ve scanned a zillion items and didn’t change any setting, and now it suddenly won’t scan.
All this, and when it prints it’s incredibly blurry. I guess I’ll call customer service again about the 3d computer set up, and maybe the stupid scanning problems. Joy.
I cannot recommend this product to any friend, and will think twice before buying another product from this company.
